Power Always Thinks it Has a Great Soul

I've been working on this for months, to the detriment of everything else! It actually started during Portland Open Studios, as a way to show visitors how blotches become shapes -- shapes become forms -- and forms become characters. Soon, the wolf appeared, and its world became bigger and bigger. Once the John Adams quote materialized over whatever I was listening to or watching at the time -- it was on!

It still won't settle. So my guess is there's still much work to be done!

Plastorm: (FINALLY!) ONLINE/FUNCTIONAL

It's been a crazy summer. The challenges of home-ownership reached a stressful crescendo when a catastrophic failure of our home's (old/original) electrical grid forced us to go without power to half our house for nearly a month. That, and other domestic perils kept me away from art production for nearly 2 months.
However...
2 cool things happened during that time period...

I participated in the Portland Art Museum's Monster Draw, in full Plastorm armor (much to the delight of the children who stared in wonder)...

...And, my robot childrenz were featured in our local paper's "Best Of" edition as, Best Robot Alley...

I FINALLY, sat down to begin working again this weekend. With Portland Open Studios coming up in just about 4 weeks, I am woefully unprepared. Much work to be done!
