I've been working on this for months, to the detriment of everything else! It actually started during Portland Open Studios, as a way to show visitors how blotches become shapes -- shapes become forms -- and forms become characters. Soon, the wolf appeared, and its world became bigger and bigger. Once the John Adams quote materialized over whatever I was listening to or watching at the time -- it was on!
It still won't settle. So my guess is there's still much work to be done!
Plastorm: (FINALLY!) ONLINE/FUNCTIONAL
It's been a crazy summer. The challenges of home-ownership reached a stressful crescendo when a catastrophic failure of our home's (old/original) electrical grid forced us to go without power to half our house for nearly a month. That, and other domestic perils kept me away from art production for nearly 2 months.
However...
2 cool things happened during that time period...
I participated in the Portland Art Museum's Monster Draw, in full Plastorm armor (much to the delight of the children who stared in wonder)...

I FINALLY, sat down to begin working again this weekend. With Portland Open Studios coming up in just about 4 weeks, I am woefully unprepared. Much work to be done!
