Captain Plasma
I'm a guy who gets easily enamored by and lost in a lot of rabbit holes. With that in mind, I present to you, rabbit0le.0114: Captain Plasma, my new Studio Sentinel. Now that she's complete, I can finally get back to actual artwork!

Finally took the time to stretch The Thunderbird and the Whale®...
I'm not sure if it's the same with other artists, but stretching a canvas is always an arduous event; a painstaking bargain with balance and precious real estate. As much as I try, I never leave enough blank canvas around the edges of a finished painting. As a result, the delicate balance of blank, white canvas around a finished piece is destroyed once those edges disappear behind a stapled stretcher-bar. Once stretched, time is spent just basically staring at the transformed painting. In the worst cases, that transformation is akin to a cluttered traffic-jam. My job is then to clear away some of that traffic. In this case, it was a moderate traffic-jam. Clearing that noise and clutter was a matter of adding just enough white paint in just the right areas.

It feels like I've had a less than productive 1st Quarter. Yet, I've never stopped working. I've been working on a lot of smaller pieces; they always take far longer due to the detail involved. And...well, I also must admit that some of my time is eaten up by various outdoor projects. My two Sentinel Stormtroopers have become so popular with passerby's that I'm constantly adding electronic touches and trinkets to both dazzle and confuse that constant stream of pedestrian traffic. And...well, I also -- JUST HAD TO -- mount a Kylo Ren to the roof of my studio outfitted with a custom solar lightsaber and handheld lantern...
